Steering anti-cancer drugs away from the TRAIL
Article Abstract:
Tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL) may be too toxic to the liver to be used as a chemotherapy drug. TRAIL was believed to induce apoptosis only in cancer cells, but researchers found it can kill normal human hepatocytes also.

B7-H1, a third member of the B7 family, co-stimulates T-cell proliferation and interleukin-10 secretion
Article Abstract:
Researchers have identified a third B7 protein called B7-H1 that stimulates the production of interleukin-10. This would inhibit the cellular immune response. The B7 proteins are co-stimulatory ligands of certain T cells.
