Nausea and vomiting during pregnancy: a prospective study of its frequency, intensity, and patterns of change
Article Abstract:
Many pregnant women experience almost continual nausea and vomiting. In a study of 160 pregnant women, 80% had nausea all day for several weeks. The nausea was similar to that experienced by chemotherapy patients.

Randomized controlled trial of prevention of perineal trauma by perineal massage during pregnancy
Article Abstract:
Massaging the perineum periodically in the last few weeks of pregnancy may prevent an injury during childbirth. The perineum is the area between the vagina and the rectum. It can often tear during childbirth.
