Staff nurse job satisfaction and management style
Article Abstract:
Participatory management enhances job satisfaction and facilitates an organization's effective change. A project studying 623 staff nurses in 3 Midwestern hospitals confirmed this to be the case and equated what the staff nurse perceived to be the management style with the actual management style. Staff nurses had to have worked in the same nursing unit at least half a year to participate in the study.
