OSHA's SGE program
Article Abstract:
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) of United States is emphasizing more on the Voluntary Protection Programs, to improve the safety and health standards at workplaces. Special Government Employees concept introduced by OSHA as part of these programs provides opportunity to the industry employees to work along with OSHA as volunteers. The requirements to become SGE and their role are presented.

OSHA chops training budget (again), but will Congress approve?
Article Abstract:
OSHA has recommended a reduction of training budget for fiscal 2005, from $10.5 million in 2004 to $4 million. But the request is unlikely to be acceded by the Congress, going by the experience of the last three years.
