Kids' mental health coverage 'limited and inadequate.'
Article Abstract:
Mental health benefits for children of low-income families could change dramatically due to the new federal children's health insurance law. The law allows states to choose from three benchmark programs in creating their own plans, but benchmark plan benefits vary greatly within and among states. Critics say the federal law will leave children underinsured for mental health benefits.
