Preserving patients' privacy and dignity
Article Abstract:
Loss of privacy and dignity can have a devastating effect when patients are in hospital feeling sick, vulnerable and frightened and nurses can play an important role in preventing this from happening. Certain standards are also enacted so that the nurses do their job in line with these standards and achieve the patient's satisfaction in terms of privacy and dignity.
