Article Abstract:
A course relating to nursing elderly people has demonstrated that education can alter ageist attitudes. The course aimed to encourage attitudes that would improve health care. Participants completed questionaires before and after the course to monitor changes. E. Palmore's 'Facts on Aging; A Short Quiz' helped students identify ageist attitudes. By the end of the course students had revealed increased perception of stereotypical views.
