Article Abstract:
Psoriasis, an autoimmune disorder of the skin and joints, results from complex, aberrant relationships between the skin and immune system, as well as genetic makeup and factors in the environment. However, targeting signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (Stat3) and other critical links in the disease may improve the outcome of patients afflicted by psoriasis.
