When negotiation turns to combat, back off
Article Abstract:
The proper approach to negotiating can avoid the pitfalls entailed with the use of preposterous conditions in the form of an ultimatum. Instead of taking a rigid position on an issue, the negotiating parties can seek a resolution of the issue through a stepwise approach. This technique can be usefully employed by the health care sector in the resolution of disputes.
