Reducing the risk of HIV in gay and bisexual men
Article Abstract:
The need for increased awareness of having safer sex in the relationships of gay and bisexual men and people taking control over HIV in their everyday lives is presented. Community nurses, who are also gay and have more knowledge of the local culture, are placed for carrying out this health activity effectively.

Developing antenatal classes for women with HIV infection

Antenatal classes for pregnant women with HIV infection are important. The initiative is led by a community-based clinical nurse specialist, which adopts a multidisciplinary approach and aims to reduce mother-to-child HIV transmission.
