Serving those with little or no knowledge of English
Article Abstract:
The requirements imposed on dentists receiving federal financial assistance from the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and serving patients with little or no knowledge of the English language are presented. The HHS has issued a guidance that requires that all providers should take reasonable steps to give meaningful access to their services to persons who are limited English proficient (LEP).
