Taxanes
Article Abstract:
Taxanes, classified as cytotoxic drugs, interfere with cell division and multiplication, and are generally used in advanced or metastatic breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, hormone-resistant prostate cancer and inoperable ovarian cancer. Trained personnel should reconstitute cytotoxics and should be carried out in designated areas, using protective clothing including gloves and goggles, and first-aid measures should be specified.
