The care and treatment of lung cancer
Article Abstract:
UK doctors are failing to offer specialist respiratory care to lung cancer patients, usually because of the poor health of the patient. Over 40,000 new cases of lung cancer are reported each year in the UK and the survival rate for 5 years was 5.8% in 1995. Psychological support is as equally important as physical support, because patients often become very depressed when presented with a lung cancer diagnosis. Specialist care can help them to lead as full as life as possible, while offering emotional support for carers.

Use of cognitive assessment with Alzheimer's disease
Article Abstract:
The research focuses on the process of a cognitive assessment and diagnosis, which assess and treats the patients as separate individuals and is very commonly used for a cognitive testing of the Alzheimer's disease in a large number of patients. The analysis reveals that a purely clinical testing is not enough for assessing the effects of the disease and hence it should be combined with several other treatments and therapies to gain a better knowledge about the person suffering from the disease.
