When planning a firework display it is advised that an area of 55 x 45 m be kept for the fireworks themselves, situated away from trees, buildings and power cables. Spectators should be 25m away from the display area and adequate entrances exits should be provided. The wind should travel from the spectators towards the fireworks and car parking should be kept well away from the display area.
