Timely toxicology
Article Abstract:
Researchers have developed a complementary DNA microarray chip, name the ToxChip, which allows scientists to more effectively monitor the effects of environmental hazards on thousands of genes simultaneously. The chip greatly reduces the amount of laboratory work usually needed to study the same process. Scientists are able to gauge toxicity by the change in gene expression.
