Using student writing assignments to assess critical thinking skills: a holistic approach
Article Abstract:
A nursing school's holistic approach to the assessment of critical thinking by using student writing tasks is discussed. A number of difficulties can arise when using writing tasks for outcomes assessment, including the need to encourage all students to assemble the necessary materials.
