The American Medical Center is a group practice which caters to the estimated 50,000 expatriates living in Moscow. It accepts any patient who can pay, and typically sees 30 patients per day. International corporations and several embassies have enrolled their employees with the Center, which charges a subscription fee from which service charges are deducted. Tourists also use the Center, which imports its drugs and offers an on-site pharmacy.

Literature bores me
Article Abstract:
Modernist literature does not seem to have a large audience or perhaps it is really beyond the grasp or interest of the ordinary reader. When the 20th century writers such as James Joyce, Virginia Woolf and Henry James turned to introspection, their literature became a bore.

Some women in the pro-choice movement are learning to perform abortions at home in anticipation of a time when abortion clinics are outlawed. Menstrual extraction can be done, but not on one's self, with little formal instruction.
