YOU: THE COMEBACK
Article Abstract:
Most men participate in some kind of competitive sports for the first 20 years of their lives, even on a casual basis. After graduating from college, the opportunity to compete is abruptly cut off due to work and family obligations. Grown men can return to recreational competition by participating in events such as the Nike World Masters Games. Age and health concerns need not be an excuse for nonparticipation in such activities. Participation can relieve stress and increase self-esteem.
