Ethnic diversity on top corporate boards: a resource dependency perspective
Article Abstract:
The presence of ethnic minority (EM) members of the boards of directors of FTSE 100 companies is studied. Companies with EM directors are more likely to have bigger market capitalization, a larger workforce, and a more gender diverse board. These directors also have high human and social capital.
