Failure to pay bursary during maternity leave is not sex discrimination
Article Abstract:
In the case of Fletcher, Parkes and Wilkinson v. (1) Blackpool Fylde & Wyre Hospitals NHS Trust (2) Secretary of State for Health, tribunal ruled that hospital trust failing to pay an employee during maternity leave is not unlawful sex discrimination, because article 141 is not applicable in the case.
