Personality traits discriminating between employees in public- and in private-sector organizations
Article Abstract:
Research into differences in individual traits between employees in public and private organizations in Greece indicates that a sub-group of public-sector employees is very different from that of private-sector employees. However, there appear to be many employees in public-sector organizations who have characteristics of private employees and vice versa. This research supports most of the hypotheses indicating that the employee characteristics studied determine employee attitudes and behaviour towards their organizations.

Internationalization as a determining factor of HRM outsourcing
Article Abstract:
Results of the 2000 CRANET survey were analyzed to examine the outsourcing of human resource management (HRM) as a result of internationalization of companies in Greece. It was found that western firms outsource HRM services more than companies in Greece do, and that Greek firms practice less human resource management compared to multinational companies. The significance of multinational companies on innovativeness of management strategies is also investigated.
