The Enduring Alliance? Trade Unions and the Making of New Labour, 1994-1997
Article Abstract:
The reformation of the Labor Party in the United Kingdom does not sever connections with the nation's unions, but rather redefines the nature of their relationship. Union and party objectives do not coincide; however, they do intersect. Although the party has created distance between itself and unions through the adoption of organizational structure, an alliance of general expectations continues to exist.

Article Abstract:
Temporary employees are missing opportunities for advancement due to a lack of occupational training.
