Stress reduction tips to use in and out of the workplace

Techniques are offered for relieving job stress. The common physical signs of stress include: headaches, stomach aches, and back pains. It is suggested that it is best to avoid temporary cures such as aspirin, tranquilizers, and pain killers. The diet can be adjusted to keep energy up during stressful times by eating foods high in protein and calcium, and drinking at least six to eight glasses of water a day. A few minutes of deep breathing and stretching the muscles helps to relieve physical effects of stress. Individual can help themselves by being aware of the type of situations that make them feel stressed, by not accepting more work than they can handle, and by increasing communication skills.
