Thoughts on the development of supplementary social provision in China
Article Abstract:
The adoption of multi-tier social insurance framework prompted Chinese enterprises to develop a number of supplementary-funded arrangement approaches. Despite such improvements, the progress of enterprise-funded arrangements has been limited due to their inherent weaknesses. Although these plans are one of the frequently employed schemes in China, their scope, function and financial resources are loosely defined. Furthermore, these plans are based on outmoded insurance policies, thereby rendering them inefficient in a number of insurance coverage frameworks.

The practice of human resources management in Russia
Article Abstract:
Many foreign companies have expressed interest in Russia as an investment destination. Although the potential for profits may be substantial, organizations should also realize that the country's labor market remains very unpredictable and total costs are not really as cheap as initially thought. Moreover, the legal environment is clearly fraught with many pitfalls which make investment difficult. Improvements are expected but they will be marginal at best and generally reflective of political, and not business concerns.
