Total compensation statements go online - taking a traditional print communication to the Web
Article Abstract:
The dawning of corporate technology has made employers consider the value of utilizing the World Wide Web for communicating more effectively with their employees the financial value of benefits in addition to pay. For over 30 years, employers have been using personalized total compensation statements through print communication to deliver this message. However, efficient use of the Web for such a purpose involves some developmental concerns that need to be considered. Although using the Web in compensation management has its advantages for both employers and employees, the decision to shift to an electronic compensation statement requires an understanding of the processes involved.
