Quayle vs. ABA, round II; vice president claims association honored "liberalism's heroine." (Anita Hill)
Article Abstract:
The ABA Commission on Women in the Profession has honored Anita F. Hill, the University of Oklahoma law professor who accused Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas of sexual harassment during his confirmation hearings, for her contributions to the profession. Hillary Rodham Clinton, wife of presidential candidate Bill Clinton, also spoke at the meeting. Vice President Quayle has referred to Hill as 'liberalism's heroine for the 1990's.'
