Article Abstract:
Policy illustrations for life insurance sales can generate client expectations that could go unfulfilled if the insurance agent does not disclose the information used to create the illustrations. Disclosure is especially important in advanced sales, private pensions, wash loans and second-to-die policies because of the increased risk that the situation will change. Life insurance policy illustrations are based on life expectancy, current tax laws and current investment results, information that should be clearly explained to clients to prevent legal liability.

Article Abstract:
Pairing specialized life insurance plans with tailored trusts is a creative and effective method to ease the baby boomer generation's financial responsibilities which have increased with the deterioration of government safety nets. Enhancing life insurance with accelerated death benefits in the event of serious illness and creating a life insurance trust called a Well-Being Trust can help protect baby boomers' parents and children. These creative methods can enhance traditional planning to provide added security for three generations.

Estate plan tune up for business owners
Article Abstract:
Most business owners do not have an adequate estate plan that will allow transfer of their business to the next generation. Written buy-sell agreements are important components of business and estate plans. The most important issue in creating such an agreement is determining where the money will come from and who will provide the funding.
