The Lawyers Communication Network is an ABA service giving 60 hours of continuing legal education programming and practice-specific news monthly. Sessions at ABA seminars are taped live, divided by practice area and broadcast directly to the attorney's screen. The network also gives timely information about the profession through 'Law in Brief,' a daily news program examining important legal issues shaping the practice of law.

The article describes the ABA Health Law Section, which before its founding in 1996 existed under the name of the Forum on Health Care. The section provides a forum for monitoring rapid changes in the health care industry and in federal and state laws on this area.
