Giving up their kids; mentally ill children, and the custody crisis you never heard of
Article Abstract:
Issues are discussed regarding the care of mentally ill children. When the parents of such children are not extremely wealthy or poor enough to be covered by Medicaid, those uninsured or underinsured must often relinquish custody of their children to get the care paid for by the state.
