Hewlett favourite to succeed Allan
Article Abstract:
Channel 4's Steve Hewlett is reportedly considering a move to Carlton Television. However, it could not be confirmed if Hewlett, Channel 4's head of factual programmes and features, is moving to Carlton to replace Andy Allan as director of programs, or for another position at the ITV firm. A Carlton spokesman refused to comment on whether Hewlett had been offered a post. Hewlett, who is seen by one industry observer as ideally fit to replace Allan, was unavailable for comment.
