C4 and BBC 1 call for docs from Double Exposure
Article Abstract:
Double Exposure has entered into an agreement to produce two documentaries, Making It and Tourists, for Channel 4 and BBC 1, respectively. Making It, which is an eight-part, 30-minute series, is about a group of eight twentysomething friends who meet to talk about their quest for success, be it professional or emotional. It was commissioned by former Channel 4 daytime commissioning editor Fiona Chesterton and will probably be aired in spring 1999. Tourists, which is also an eight-part, 30-minute series, is about how foreign tourists and home-grown Britons regard each other. It was commissioned via the independent commissioning group of BBC and is scheduled to be released in late spring 1999.
