Childs prodigy
Article Abstract:
Ted Childs will leave his position as managing director of Central Films at the end of 1995, having been a leading player in giving the channel a dominant position in popular drama over recent years. He has become closely linked with drama successes such as 'Peak Practice' and 'Kavanagh QC,' but his most successful production was 'Inspector Morse,' which ran to five series over seven years. He is now likely to remain in touch with Carlton as a script developer.
