Filing comments
Article Abstract:
The FCC invites broadcasters to submit formal comments as part of the rulemaking process, which must follow a prescribed format and filing procedure. The comments must refer to the specific FCC docket number. They should clearly indicate relevant past experience, position, and argument regarding the particular issues under discussion. Although not necessary, it may be useful to have an attorney draft and file the comments.
