Granada lines up Goldberg and Dreyfuss for dramatic projects

Granada Media Group is developing two new drama projects with American stars Whoopi Goldberg and Richard Dreyfuss as actors. Richard Dreyfuss joins Granada head of international drama Antony Root in a TV movie for the International audience titled The Two Georges, which will also be starred by Dreyfuss. The Two Georges, which is about a detective played by Dreyfuss who follows a plot against a an English government official of North America, is based on a novel co-written by Dreyfuss. Goldberg, on the other hand, is scheduled to co-produce a new series about an international school in London where she will appear in the first episode.

Minotaur takes on La Plante contract
Article Abstract:
Minotaur International has signed an exclusive distribution contract with Lynda La Plante, a leading drama producer in UK. The agreement covers all territories outside Australia and South Africa and calls for Minotaur to take responsibility for marketing output from Southern Star, the Australian producer/distributor that acquired Lynda La Plante as part of its purchase of Circle Communications Group. Minotaur International will also oversee international sales of any new UK-produced projects of La Plante.
