NBC rejects Granada pilots
Article Abstract:
NBC, the top-rating US network, has turned down Granada Entertainment USA's sitcom pilots, Cold Feet and Blind Men, for its autumn season in favor of projects produced by its own production unit. NBC's line up for autumn 1998 include three sitcoms from NBC Studios, the Conrad Bloom, Will & Grace and Bo Derek drama vehicle Wind on Water. Other new shows included in the autumn slate are the drama Trinity, produced by ER executive producer John Wells and sitcoms All of My Life and Encore. However, Granada Production's joint managing director, Andrea Wonfor, noted that the company is still negotiating with NBC regarding mid-season pick-ups for early 1999.
