Sky News co-founder Jennings in shock exit
Article Abstract:
Sky News' co-founder Nick Jennings, who is also the first foreign editor of the channel, has abruptly tendered his resignation. It is believed that Jennings' resignation has been triggered by disappointments over BSkyB's decision to exclude plans for an international news channel among the 200 digital channels launched by the broadcaster. Jennings engineered the establishment of a foreign desk and a daily international satellite news coverage at Sky News as well as the setting up of a staff bureaux abroad.
