"England: the Champion's Challenge", a television documentary program on ITV1, follows the preparations of the English Rugby team's preparations for the Rugby World Cup. The production team had access to the team's different activities, but faced several challenges such as building rapport with the players. A personal narrative on the making of the program is presented.

Daniel Radcliffe and Kim Catrall will play Jack and Carrie, Rudyard Kipling's son and wife, in the First World War drama "My Boy Jack" on ITV1. The show was conceptualized in 1985 by actor David Haig who wrote the screenplay, focusing on Kipling's efforts to put his son into war and his death in the battlefield. The production of the program is discussed.
