Mitchell appointment confirmed by Telewest
Article Abstract:
Telewest Communications appointed Christine Mitchell as its new programming chief, confirming industry predictions. Mitchell, who replaces Ashley Faull as programming director, will be responsible for the 53 channels being aired by Telewest. Faull, in the meantime will go to On Digital, a digital terrestrial broadcaster as executive director of programming, although some speculate that Telewest would hold Faull to his full six-month notice period. Mitchell, who has been in the industry for 15 years, will tackle situations related to Telewest's entry into digital broadcasting and creating the digital content.
