Wall to Wall concentrated solely on making The Media Show for Channel 4 during its first three years, but has now expanded into documentaries, gardening, cookery, natural history and drama. The company was established by Jane Root who is a director, along with Alex Graham. Its decision to expand was brought about by Channel 4's decision to axe The Media Show.

Blue Heaven boss takes up opening down under

Seven Network of Australia, a broadcaster, is to set up a new stand-along international production company which will be headed by Graham Benson of the UK, a producer and chairman of Blue Heaven Productions of the UK, an independent company. Benson will become chief executive of the new company Seven Productions International (SPI).

GMTV sets up production arm in bid for outside work
Article Abstract:
GMTV has set up GMTV Productions, a stand-alone prodution unit which will develop programmes for ITV, Channel 4 and the BBC. The channel will be expanded to include sales, satellite and cable, and a number of programme proposals are being prepared. It is expected to focus on travel and live studio projects.
