The making of ... a modern epic: Jeremy Isaacs' Cold War
Article Abstract:
The 24 part television series Cold War has been made for more than 7 million pounds sterling. Turner Orignal Productions commissioned Independent Producer Jeremy Issacs to make the series. Actor Kenneth Branagh is the narrator on the series and Composer Carl Davis has written the music. Issacs began to prepare for the series at the end of 1994. It is due to be seen in the UK during Sept 1998. Producer and Writer Taylor Downing wrote 20,000 words for the series which includes interviews with 550 people. The participants worked hard to ensure its accuracy as a historical record.
