Article Abstract:
The filming team put together by Discovery Channel for its 'Eco-Challenge' series of five 60-minute programmes faced significant challenges. The work involved filming 48 teams of four as they raced across extremely difficult terrain in Queensland, Australia. The 16 members of the filming team were divided up into solo units, spread across the three main zones of the terrain covered by the race. A great deal of equipment was required, and the camera operators also had to adapt the equipment to deal with the unusual conditions.

The making of ... Stop The World for BBC Choice
Article Abstract:
The production team responsible for 'Stop The World,' a new comedy series for BBC Choice made up of 52 30-minute episodes, had to demonstrate a wide range of skills. Indeed, producer Gary Reich and director Paul Thomas both participated in HTV's 'Hybrid' scheme, one of television's first multi-skill projects. Each show, which has a budget of 7,000 pounds sterling, is presented as a mixture of six or seven items loosely connected with an access-all-areas theme.
