Two Plus One opens for business
Article Abstract:
Two Plus One, a television post-production facility, will officially begin operations on Oct. 1, 1998. The facility, which is housed in a five-story building on Lower St. James Street, was founded by Clive Bourne and Joy Hancock, both formerly with TV1. Bourne said the 1.5-million pounds sterling facility is being financed by several City investors and other backers whom he declined to identify. Two Plus One is equipped with a fully configured Sony digital linear suite, based around the BVE 9100 vision mixer and DME 7000 effects, and a Softimage DS suite. The facility provides aspect ratio conversions and has a highly specified master control/quality control suite with Pro Tools and Digital Visions' DVNR.
