Reuters branding slammed
Article Abstract:
Reuters Television has been the subject of criticisms from UK news providers for attaching the Reuters logo on some of its footage. Reuters' logo was on the screen of a footage that show an interview with Israeli prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu and was received by angry broadcasters, with at least two UK news providers promising to abandon footage that bear the logo or replace the logo with their own. Meanwhile, a denial was voiced out by Reuters director of media business Phillip Melchior, who said that only a single inquiry on the matter was sent to the agency and which has been straightened out.
