Army aviation's progress toward transformation
Article Abstract:
The US Aviation units are resetting and transforming as the branch sets out to achieve a higher level of joint interoperability, modularity, deployability and sustainability. The Aviation Task Force developed and received approval for an Army Aviation Transformation Plant after an extensive review that was developed based on a full DOTML-PF analysis that included the integration of lessons learned from recent operations and is nested in the Army Campaign Plan, restructuring active and reserve Army Aviation units.

Reshaping the Army while fighting terrorism
Article Abstract:
The US Army continues to be victorious in the global war on terrorism, with an outstanding operation in Iraq and in addition to this achievement it has begun to realign and integrate the major commands and field operating agencies. Along with organizational changes the Army is transforming manpower that includes redesign of personnel units, creating multicomponent databases and balancing force structure and inventory among others.
