Bridging the active/reserve culture gap
Article Abstract:
The problem regarding reducing the culture gap between active component and reserve component is addressed. Efforts can be made to reduce the culture gap between the active component and reserve component by introducing leaders having active duty experience within the reserve component and developing a separate reserve retirement system for the officers and NCOs who have put in more than 10 years of active service.
