Britain plans to lease C-17s
Article Abstract:

Aircrew training and maintenance support for the aircraft will be initially handled by the contractor and the US Air Force. The order may bolster Boeing's offer to sell the US government an additional 60 C-17 aircraft at a roughly 25% discount. The US Air Force already has an existing order for 120 C-17 aircraft.
