Article Abstract:
A narrative based on an interview with Col Ed Montagne, USMC (Ret) who authored the Oral History Branch of History and Museums Division, and who served as an aviator in World War II and the Korean War, is presented. Discussion on the evening of 1st December 1950 is mentioned where he and Capt. Tom Mulvihill were assigned to fly in support of Task Force Faith, elements of Regimental Combat Team 31 (RCT-31).

Phantoms over North Vietnam
Article Abstract:
The experiences of two F-4J Phantom fighter/bombers of Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 333 (VMFA-333) during the aerial combat in North Vietnam in 1972 are presented. Capt John J. Cummings and Maj Lee T. 'Bear' Lasseter survived even after fighting against the antiaircraft artillery (AAA), surface-to-air missiles (SAMs) and MiG-21 aircrafts.

From Inchon to the reservoir
Article Abstract:
The importance of training, to the Marines, is illustrated in a motivational speech delivered by Col Lewis B. Puller. A squadron leader would be trained in such a way that he returns to continue the fight even after getting wounded twice, which shows his dedication to his duty.
