Combat vehicles upgrade from Russia
Article Abstract:
NII Stali of Russia offers a wide range of upgrade kits to boost the protection level of MBTs, IAVFs, APCs againsts various ballistic threats, anti-tank mines, and mass destruction weapons. The company provides add-on protection kits that support Russians designed AFVs including T-54/55, T- 62 and T-72 MBT, the BMP-1/2 and BMP-3 AIFVs as well as foreign vehicles such as M-48, M-60, Leopard 1, Centurion, Merkava and AMX-30. NII Stali uses various technologies such as composite materials, integrated explosive reactive armour and electromagnetic protection in the upgrades.
