Dutch MOBAT system offered to Canada for fast deployment in indirect fire

CanadaEs armed force can make best use of the Mobile Artillery (MOBAT) system, developed by RDM Technology in the Netherlands, as they are looking for a cost-effective, technological system for their future. The MOBAT system demonstrated the speed, firepower and ease of operation at the Canadian Forces Base Gagetown, in New Brunswick, as it fired 48 rounds from four different locations in less than 20 minutes.

Bird in the hand: Bowman bridges the digital divide for British Army

The UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) awarded GBP 1.9 billion (USD3.4 billion) contract to General Dynamics UK Ltd. as the prime contractor and system integrator for the Bowman radio system covering the provision of secure voice communications, secure messaging, and local area subsystems (LAS). The contract also covers adaptation of the system to front-line vehicles and logistic support until 2009.

Bowman makes its mark in export market
Article Abstract:
The Bowman digitization system, which is under development for UK forces by General Dynamics UK was ordered by the Royal Netherlands Marine Corps (RNLMC) and signed on its behalf by the Royal Netherlands Navy. Bowman digitization system is being acquired for a two-year programme with a value of EUR94 million (USD116 million).
