Equipping the LEOPARDO
Article Abstract:
An industrial group composed of Indra EWS and STN ATLAS Elektronik GmbH was chosen by Santa Barbara Blindados to supply the electronic systems for the Spanish Army's LEOPARDO 2E tank program. Santa Barbara Blindados is the prime contractor for the LEOPARDO program. Indra EWS and STN ATLAS Elektronik must deliver 219 combat systems, each featuring 16 command systems for the armoured recovery vehicle derivative version as well as a self-tested equipment, command system, panoramic periscope, and fire control unit.

Barracuda goes to Saab
Article Abstract:
Hagglunds Vehicle AB of Sweden has announced that it will sell its wholly- owned subsidiary Barracuda Technologies AB to Saab AB for an estimated SEK 70 million. The deal includes a profit- and risk-sharing scheme related to future income flows, which values the deal between a minimum of SEK54.75 million to a maximum of SEK75 million. Barracuda is one of the world's largest suppliers of camouflage equipment to military customers
